Well, you will be shock to know that 23 lakhs people have applied for just 368 peons in state secretariat, Lucknow, U.P., India. The number is almost half the population of Lucknow.
What is even more disturbing is that over two lakh applicants are at at least graduate with BTech, M.Com and MTech. But most of them feel that it is better to work as peon rather than roaming without a job.
