Xiaomi’s Redmi 3S is a Made in India product :Here is the sneak peek!
Xiaomi Redmi 3S has recently launched in India at a price of Rs 6,999, while Redmi 3S Prime will cost the customer Rs 8,999. The Smartphone has been a new addition to Xiaomi’s budget Redmi series. Redmi 3S Prime will soon start selling on Mi.com and Flipkart and that too without any pre-registrations from August 9 at 12 noon onwards, and Redmi 3S will be also be available starting August 16.
Xiaomi has said that every unit of Redmi 3S and Redmi 3S Prime is purely being made in India. The first Mi phone to be manufactured in the country was a Redmi device — Redmi 2 Prime.
The company also claims that till today over a 75 per cent of Xiaomi’s smartphones that are currently being sold in India are made in India. Xiaomi Redmi 3S/3S Prime is also similar to Redmi Note 3 when talking in terms of their design.
Xiaomi’s Redmi 3S
Its feature includes metal unibody design supporting a 5-inch display. The USP of Xiaomi Redmi 3S is it has a huge 4,100mAh battery, which the company also claims lasts up to 2 days. Despite the big battery, the smartphone is only an 8.5 mm thick. The primary camera in this Xiaomi Redmi 3S is 13MP, while the front camera comes with 5MP. Xiaomi Redmi 3S is further powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor coupled with a 2GB RAM+ 16GB storage /3GB RAM + 32GB storage. It also supports a microSD slot as well with a 128 GB limit.
Xiaomi Redmi 3S supports dual-SIM with a VoLTE 4G support and it will also support Band 3/5/40 in India. It runs on MIUI 7 based on the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. The smartphone will be available in Gold, Silver and Grey colour options. With Redmi 3S Prime, the only difference one could detect is that it has a fingerprint scanner on the back and a more RAM and storage to offer.
