According to reports, Xiaomi Mi Max 2 phablet is all set to get launched today at an event in China. Notably, Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is the successor of Xiaomi Mi Max which was launched last year with a massive 6.44 – inch display.
The Chinese brand last claimed that it shipped 1.5 million units of the original Mi Max in just two months since its launch in China. So the company is already riding high on confidence and prospects for Xiaomi Mi Max 2 are not too dim. Leaks have already given us the idea of what to expect from the new phablet.

As per reports, Xiaomi Mi Max will come in 4GB RAM with snapdragon 626 SoC model, and 6GB of RAM with snapdragon 660 SoC variants priced at CNY 1,499(approx Rs. 14,000) and CNY 1,699 ( approx Rs. 15,000) respectively. Notably, the Weibo Leak was first reported by Gzimo China.

The phone is said to come with a 6.44 full- HD display and 12 megapixel rear camera with a Sony IMX378 sensor. The phone will offer you 5 megapixel camera in the front.
Just like the Mi Max, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is also likely to be launched outside China. The Company is widely expected to introduce a 128 GB storage variant of Mi Max2.
The phone is also expected to sport all- metal body alongside including a USB Type –C Port. Leaks have showed the 3.5mm audio jack on the top of the device, and fingerprint scanner is situated in the centre at the back.
