Samsung seems to want to integrate and help manage our lives better. ‘Smart Things Hub’ communicates with all household appliances through series of Internet of Things (IoT) connected sensors to simply efficiently run themselves even if the home Wi-Fi networks blacks out. It also will be able to analyze your quality of sleep and can control smart thermostats, security camera and even the car.
Currently, SmartThings hub is compatible with 200 household devices. They are also expecting more devices to be compatible as they are able to get support from open source code distributed by Git Hub.
