Redmi 1S- Sale Starts @ 2PM

Xiaomi’s Redmi 1S, which has been capturing everyone’s attention since last few weeks is now going to be in the hands of the registered users very soon. The registration for the handset is now closed on flipkart.com, but the sale is just going to begin from 2PM onwards today, September 23rd. The mi fans are eagerly waiting for this smarter smartphone which is being offered in just Rs. 5,999 with some of the huge features, which very few people expect in this low price range. Due to a higher demand, the company had already announced the increase in the number of handsets from 40,000 to 60,000 on 19th September.

Display

With Redmi 1S, the user will enjoy a large 4.7 inches IPS display with an HD resolution of 1280 x 720 display. The pixel density of 312 ppi offers better appearance of the text and images on the display.

The 8 MP rear camera with 28mm wide angle lens and f/2.2 aperture will let anyone enjoy the superfine picture quality. The 1.4um sensor allows better pictures even in low light condition. The rear camera also offers an HD 1080p video quality.

In only around 6K, the user will not have to miss the front camera, as the Redmi 1S comes with a 1.6 megapixel front camera, as well. This front cam will not be just a useless gift but it will allow a 720p HD video chatting.

Performance

The 1.6 GHz Quad core processor is what you will be receiving in a 6k handset. To support the processing speed the Redmi 1S comes with 1 GB RAM and to store your data, 8 GB internal storage is being offered by the company.

About the sound quality, the company says that 1S feature the same sound technology used by BMW, Bentley and Rolls Royce.

Redmi 1S runs on Android 4.3 Jellybean operating system and for better gaming performance it is packed with Adreno 305 graphics processor.

Apart from this, the 4.0 Bluetooth and the ambient noise reduction mic adds some more colours to the quality of the handset.

Redmi 1S is avaible in various colours like Black, Chinese Red, Metallic Gray/ blue, green, yellow.
