Nationwide free incoming roaming services by MTNL.
Its a good news for Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL) users. On Monday MTNL launched nationwide free incoming roaming services.
With this, telecom company catering to the two metros Mumbai and Delhi will provide free incoming roaming service to its users across the country.
Ravi Shankar Prasad, the communication and IT minister made the announcement at a press conference here.
He also announced that government would install Wi-Fi at 2500 locations in different parts of the country by march next year.
On the occasion, at the ‘Har ki Pauri’ in Haridwar and Dargah Ajmer Sharif in Rajasthan , he also inaugurated Wi-Fi hotspot through remote control.
In the rest of the country, the BSNL is already providing free roaming services to its subscribers.
