The CEO of Meta, Mark zuckerberg launched Whatsapp Video Message Feature
Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Meta, said on Thursday, July 27, that WhatsApp is launching a brand new feature — Video Message Feature. The update is being rolled out starting Thursday, allowing customers to file and share quick, private video pictures directly inside their WhatsApp chats.

The easiest and quickest method to check if the feature to record a video message is enabled on your WhatsApp account is to faucet the microphone button inside the chat bar in any communique: in case it becomes a video digital camera button, you can already record video messages from today.

While you send or receive a video message, you want to open it by tapping on the video as soon as you need to listen to the audio, as shown in the attached screenshot. Note that you must ask the recipient to update their version of WhatsApp as a way to receive your video messages because a video message is recorded and sent in real-time, it gives a sense of immediacy as compared to a pre-recorded video that can be saved for being sent later.

While recipients are about to receive a video message, they could perceive it as currently being recorded, which notably proves its authenticity. It’s worth noting that video messages are always end-to-end encrypted, making sure that no one outside the communique, now not even WhatsApp, can get permission to it.
The ability to record and share video messages is available to some beta users that install the brand new version of WhatsApp beta for iOS from the TestFlight app and WhatsApp beta for Android from the Google Play store, and it’s going to roll out to even greater people over the coming weeks.
