Microsoft Unveils Surface Pro 4
Microsoft, the software major has slowly been making inroads into hardware space too. After the enthusiastic response to the first Surface Pro three years back, there has been no looking back.
The company recently unveiled it’s Surface Pro 4 (tablet) and Surface Book. Surface Pro 4, according to the company is the slimmest, yet powerful tablet capable of replacing the laptop.
The device works on the latest 6th. Gen. Intel Core M i5/i7 processors, and is more than 30 percent faster than it’s predecessor – Surface Pro 3. It’s screen size is 12.3 inches, and delivers the same content as a 13 inch laptop with it’s 5 million pixels and 1300:1 contrast ratio.
With a enhanced Surface Pen, useage of the Surface Pro 4 is a cinch. At the same time Surface Book, breaking into the near monopoly of Macbook Pro in the graphics arena.
Taking the MacBook Pro head on, the Surface Book, with a display of 13.5 inches, has it’s capability exceeding the MacBook 13.3 inches by a cool 2 million pixels.
