Hackers selling twitter data
Millions of stolen Twitter log-in’s were evidently lifted from the web browser programs and put up for sale online, according to a search engine which is fully devoted to leaked data.
Though twitter was adamant that its computers were not broken by hackers and that they were not the source of any information being hawked.
In fact, they said that they have been working to help keep accounts protected.
The data reportedly included 32 million Twitter records that could include information such as username, password or e-mail addresses.
It has appeared that hackers retrieved the information by using malicious code that steals data from web browsing programs.
