3  ways Google is changing  Play Store

According to reports, Google is planning to change Play Store in three different ways. It has also started giving app developers a  heads- up notice on making 64 –bit app version mandatory on Google Play by the year 2019.

Notably, Android got support for 64- bit apps back when Google launched Android 5.0 Lollipop OS. But until now, it was not mandatory for developers to create 64-bit app version for their 32-bit apps.Edward Cunningham, Product Manager has stated three changes that are designed to make apps more secure and better.

Talking about 64-bit app versions,  it has been mentioned that, “ In August 2019, the play will require apps update with 64 –bit.  It means the developers can still keep the 32-bit app but they would have to require 64- bit versions as well. Lastly, the search engine will send out a small amount of security metadata on top of each APK to authorize the app.  Notably, this will roll out in early 2018, and developers are not required to do anything for this.
