Facebook walk’s on WhatsApp’s path, with end-to-end Encryption
According to reports surfacing, Facebook is planning to launch end-to-end encryption to its Messenger App.
As per a source, once the update hits in the coming month, users will be able to choose between either the privacy added nor an improved artificial intelligence.
This is not the first time that the Facebook product to receive improved encryption, as that the honour belongs to other messaging apps like Whatsapp.
However, the feature will remain opt-in as Facebook is further planning to add chatbots as announced at the F8 developer conference in this year.

Bots can be further added by developers for various corporate participants, and will also equip to help the users interact with services.
Everyone would be wondering, why this feature is kept optional? The move has taken in consideration because of the current stand-off between major tech companies and security agencies.
The companies like Google, Apple and Facebook cannot afford into the demands to build backdoors into their systems for the increasing terror and crime investigator, but on the other hand, they cannot even block out business either without ads, as corporate partnerships is a major source of revenue in apps like Messenger.
