Bengali Hitz, Airtel’s Subscription video on demand service launched
India’s largest telecommunications provider Bharti Airtel’s DTH arm, Airtel Digital TV recently announced the launch of “BANGLA HITZ”, a subscription video is on demand (SVOD) service in Bengali.
This aad free service will be available at a nominal fee of Rs39/month and would able to be accessed on channel number 702 on Airtel Digital TV.
To activate the service, Airtel Digital TV customers will have to give a missed call to 9109121232 or SMS ADD 702 to 54325
A whole new range of exclusive entertainment options in Bengali will be offered by the new service to Airtel DTH customers. This will include, a showcase of 7 unique Bengali Movies in a day, totaling up to 15-20 unique titles per week.
The frequency will gradually be increased to 4 new premieres every month.
Additionally, customers also get access to some of the finest musical performances from the region via the huge music catalog that comes with the service.

Airtel Digital TV launched its ‘On-demand video services’ in 2013 to provide users seamless number of downloads of their favorite videos from movies, fashion, lifestyle, home & family, health, devotional among other sections from an on-demand video library.
Currently, in regional catalog of Airtel Digital TV offers SVOD services in Gujarati, Tamil and Punjabi as well.
