Facebook declared that its userbase has crossed 142 mn in India , confessing it is the largest market after US .
The specific user ratios, according to tech giant Facebook are:
- 142 million users in India
- 133 million users access it through mobile phones
- 69 million use facebook daily out of which 64 million access through mobile phones
Talking about its Facebook lite launched in June 2015, this infant has progressed very steadily in India and its users has reached 100 million (monthly active) in just a span of nine months.
Lite which was launched to use less data and works really well supporting over 50 languages.
Vijay Shankar, Facebook head of products (Facebook Lite) sai that facebook will be adding new features to lite counting with support for video,emojis,pinch-to-zoom for photos ecetra .
