Education Ministry Launches ‘Apna Chandrayaan’ Portal and Special Courses After Chandrayaan-3 Success

In an exciting development, the Education Ministry is all set to launch a brand-new portal and special courses dedicated to Chandrayaan-3. Following the triumphant launch of the Chandrayaan-3 space mission, the Ministry is taking education to new heights by introducing a dedicated platform named ‘Apna Chandrayaan.’
The big launch day is set for Tuesday, October 17, and this initiative promises to open up a universe of opportunities for students and space enthusiasts. The Ministry has called upon higher education institutions to actively promote the portal and spread the word about these special courses among students and teachers.

In an earlier announcement, the University Grants Commission encouraged educational institutions to organise the registration process for the Chandrayaan-3 Maha Quiz. This quiz is designed to test students’ knowledge about the Chandrayaan-3 mission and space science in general. It’s a wonderful opportunity for individuals to engage with India’s space exploration endeavours and to inspire students to explore the cosmos further.
Interested participants can register for the Chandrayaan-3 Maha Quiz on the official website until October 31, 2023. This quiz is being hosted by MyGov in collaboration with the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). It consists of multiple-choice questions covering various aspects of space science, the Chandrayaan-3 mission, and general knowledge about space exploration. Participants have 300 seconds to answer 10 questions, each with four options, and they must choose the correct one.
This exciting initiative not only fosters a sense of curiosity about space but also showcases India’s remarkable achievements in space exploration. It’s a step toward fostering a new generation of space enthusiasts and scientists who will continue to reach for the stars.
