Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan launches Employability Skills Enhancement Program
On October 2nd, Education Minister, Dharmendra Pradhan launched the "Employability Skills Enhancement Program for Polytechnic Students, at AICTE HQ, in New Delhi. The initiative has lofty aims for the academic year 2023–2024, including the upskilling of 10,000 students and the mentoring of 500 faculty members.

On October 12, Union Minister of Education, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Shri Dharmendra Pradhan launched the “Employability Skills Enhancement Program for Polytechnic Students, at AICTE HQ, in New Delhi. The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the Wadhwani Foundation worked together to create this excellent program.
The curriculum includes modules on persuasive writing, self-presentation, interpersonal skills, problem-solving and innovation, professionalism, and financial literacy. It also covers effective speaking and listening abilities.
The Employability Skills Enhancement Program’s main goal is to give polytechnic students the necessary skills to advance their professions. It places a significant emphasis on gaining real-world experience and building a solid basis for a successful professional career.

Shri Sanjay Murthy IAS, Secretary of Higher Education, Shri Sanjay Kumar IAS, Secretary of School Education, Shri Atul Tiwari IAS, Secretary of the Ministry of Skill Development, Prof. T. G. Sitharam, Chairman of the AICTE, Prof. Jagadeesh Kumar, Chairman of the UGC, and Shri NS Khalsi IAS, Chairman of NCVET, were all present to grace the event.
