Rahul Dravid, one of the most celebrated and amazing batsmen India has seen in years, has been coaching the Indian team, but his efforts have not led to much success. His stint as the Under-19 cricket team coach was good and he did see some success, but that has not been replicated again.
Rohit Sharma, the legendary cricketer who has successfully captained in IPL and been a good performer all throughout has just not been able to make a mark as a captain. There is no doubt that the shoes to fill were huge-following Dhoni and Kohli could not be easy, but it has to be done.
