This was a “memorable day” for the 44-year-old as she got an opportunity to sing most of her own compositions like India Wale (Happy New Year; 2014) and Tu Hai Ho (Mr. & Mrs. Mahi) to an enthusiastic crowd. She also says, “I sang some retro songs and some of my one songs too… People [were] even singing along to the songs… They [were] even stage bouncing, dancing, and feeling emotional too.”
Thus, she explains the feeling after her show as ‘emotional and happy,’ but she admits, ‘I never thought this would ever happen to me,’ and goes on to express she got a chance to dance on the stage of Paris for such a fabulous audience, and that makes her thrilled and overwhelmed.

Mohan wore a blue lehenga with a slight Western cut for her performance such as “the Olympics is for international clienteles”. “I wished to wear an Indian dress hence I wore a lehenga on stage, but instead of a dupatta, I wore a jacket as I thought my dressing should look like a fusion; It’s a beautiful piece with heavy work and bling blue is Indian therefore I wore blue.
During the interview, she is asked whether she has been able to accomplish any dream while she was in the French capital to which she replies, “I have dreamt of being at the Eiffel Tower and wearing a saree and I have been able to fulfill it today. You know, I wanted to take my India along with me and I have done just that today.”
