IND vs AUS: Know the top performers as India wins Border-Gavaskar series 2-1, reaches WTC final
India secured its place after beating Australia in the fourth test of the ICC World Test Championship final at The Oval starting on June 7.
India clinched the four-match Test series against Australia for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2-1 after the match (fourth Test) ended in a draw in Ahmedabad on Day 5.
The summary of 4th Test
Usman Khawaja (180) and Cameron Green (114) locked centuries as Australia posted 480 while batting first.
Ravichandran Ashwin claimed a six-wicket haul (6/91).
India got off to a brilliant start as its top-four batters got runs.
Besides Virat Kohli’s 186, Shubman Gill (opener) also smashed 128, and powered India to 571.
Travis Head (90) and Labuschagne (63*) slammed fifties in the second innings as Australia took a 70-plus lead before the two teams shook hands.
