In a significant development, the International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced that Dubai will host India’s matches in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. The tournament, scheduled to take place in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Oman, will feature the top eight teams in the ICC ODI rankings.
The ICC has confirmed that Dubai’s iconic Dubai International Stadium will be one of the primary venues for the tournament. The stadium, with a seating capacity of over 25,000, has hosted several high-profile cricket matches in the past, including the Indian Premier League (IPL) and the ICC World Twenty20.

India, one of the top-ranked teams in the world, will be looking to win their third Champions Trophy title. The team, led by captain Rohit Sharma, will be eager to make a strong impression in the tournament.
The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 is scheduled to take place from October 2025 to November 2025. The tournament will feature 15 matches, including the final, which will be played at the Dubai International Stadium.
The ICC has also announced that the UAE and Oman will co-host the tournament, with matches being played in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Muscat. The tournament is expected to attract a large following, with cricket fans from around the world expected to descend upon the UAE and Oman.
