Process of Giving and Taking: Here is why you need to choose your words wisely?
You need to choose your words wisely, here is why?
‘We reap what we sow’, this is an old saying which proves that ‘What you give = What we Get.’ It is very easy to open a mouth and utter bitter and harsh words to others without even realizing it could have a long lasting impact on him or her. And do you know such egoistic deposition is not taken kindly by the nature? So it is very important to choose your words wisely.
When you show your arrogant attitude to anyone or use any harsh words for others, the entire cosmos challenges you and watches you with stern eyes, and warns you. Nature returns everything to you with the due interest at the appropriate time. And that time there is no escape, one need to eat the bitter pills offered to you from the nature.
Here is what Swami Vivekananda has said on this law. According to him, “Every vicious thought will rebound, every word of hatred which you may have spoken even in a cave, is stored and will one day come back to you with tremendous power in the some form misery.”
You need to pay back to the nature whether today, tomorrow or even in your next birth, but for sure your words will come back to you in the form of some miseries.
Lord Mahavira once said:
- The one, whom you wish to kill, is none other than you
- The one, whom you wish to govern, is none other than you
- The one, whom you wish to cause intentional pain, is none other than you!!
So it’s the game of your words. If you choose them wisely, you will stay happy and peaceful. And a peaceful mind never hurts others. It is important to understand the cycle of giving and taking, otherwise we will only accumulate pain and grief for ourselves.
