Wastage of water in Gurgaon has become offence now. An advisory has been issued by the Gurgaon administration on misuse of water in which if any person is caught wasting water, FIR will be filed against them. So if you are a resident of Gurgaon think before you wash your car or watering your plants in balcony.
From last few days Gurgaon is facing acute water crisis due to Jat agitation in Haryana. TL Satya Prakash, Deputy Commissioner of Gurgaon has mentioned that 60% of areas in Gurgaon have low water supply due to disruption in various canals. According to sources water supply will be restored in next 10 days.
Officers are hoping to restore the water supply in next 3-4 days but till then Gurgaon have to face water shortage.
