THE NEW ROYAL WEDDING ANNIVERSARY!
In a first, a young royal couple is making news not because the man is a prince, but because he gave up his right to the throne to marry the woman of his dreams!
Belgian Prince Amedeo, 29, married his Italian aristocrat lady love Elisabetta Maria Rosboch von Wolkenstein, 27, in what is totally heart warming. To make the Italian woman his wife, he gave up on his position to be King in the future just so he could live a life independent of any authorized work.
So now Lili (the Prince’s wife) will not be Princess of Belgium by royal decree but will be known as Archduchess of Austria and Princess of Hungary as passed on to her by her father-in-law, Lorenz, Archduke of Austria.
The married couple are glorified all over the internet since they wed in 2014 in Rome and our celebrating their first anniversary this year. Many many wholehearted congratulations to the adorable pair!
