Competition is the soul of the 21st century generation. The 21st century heroes are born to compete and are evolved souls. The employment to population ratio at the time of India’s independence was 33 (approximately), which has now reversed to 77.10 as of 2013. That is why the life at the time of Independence was although tough but at the same time peaceful, stress free and easy going.

These days, there is a created competition since the day a child is born. It all starts with the parents who want to give the best to their children even in the absence of need. Then at play school, the competition is createdby the business houses who advertise to create a completion not only amongst themselves but also amongst the toddlers. The parents also get involved by comparing their children with those of their friends, neighbors and relatives. At the time of the child’s admission to the main school, the parents are dragged in as well, since a couple of pointers areparents’ education and the parents’ employment status. By now the child has already learnt to compete with the students of his age group and this continues till the time a child finishes his school and wants to step into a college.

The child is now perfect with the tricks to score good marks and compete with his class mates. After school is the time for them to practice competition now, be it college admissions, be it placement competitions or be it interviews. A multitude of options is open for the youth of today to choose from the following options:

a. Jobs after 12th

b. Entrance exams after 12th

c. Job competitions after college

d. Eligibility tests for higher studies
