As the Hajj season was coming to an end, there was a stampede at Mina, which is two miles away from Mecca, Saudi Arabia.
The stampede has killed more than 700 people and injured around 800 people. The exact number of the deaths have not been obtained as the number is still rising.
To respond to this emergency situation, 4000 workers and 220 ambulances were deployed to Mina.
