Modi and Ambani in race for ‘Time Person of the Year’
One of the most awaited and anticipated titles each year is ‘Time Person of the Year.’
Released each year by the US based magazine, this title gives credence to individuals who have achieved the most during their lives, or the preceding year.
This year, the publication has shortlisted fifty names, among which are three persons of Indian origin. These are: India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Google CEO Sunder Pichai, and Reliance Industries Honcho Mukesh Ambani.
So far, Modi and Pichai are neck in neck with Vladimir Putin, with 1.3 percent votes each, while Ambani is trailing far behind with 0.2 percent votes.
