This was challanged in courts, which were overthrown, paving the way for legal same sex marriages to take place beginning this week.

Taking advantage of the changed climate, couple Cormac Gollogly and Richard Dowling, who have been together since twelve years, and engaged for 5 of those, officially tied the knot on Tuesday in Tipperary.
