India is still facing sanitation problems
According to WaterAid reports, India has become most lacking nation in providing sanitation facilities to its citizens. India is calling on Central and state government to deliver universal access of sanitation.
One of the youngest country in the world, south Sudan has the worst household access to sanitation followed by other countries like Niger,Togo and Madagascar revealed by reports.
It further added sanitation facility and ensuring that everyone in community uses a toilet is key to better health. India now has 60.4% of its people without safe sanitation facility.
Cheif Executive Neeraj Jain if WaterAid said: ” As we observe yet another world toilet day,more than 14000 children younger than five years continued to die each year in India from diarrhea”.
Reports emphasizes that 2.3 billion people in the world do not have access to safe toilet.
