A Muslim man, Mazim Millia stood blindfolded with arms outstretched at the crowded streets of Chowpatty, Mumbai. He was hoping to break the stereotypes that exist about his community by asking for a hug.
There was an outcry of reactions of the passerby. People of all walks of life went up to him for a hug.
In Canada it was part of a social experiment to test feelings towards Muslims and send a message of peace and religious tolerance in the wake of terrorism and Islam.
