Faces And Encounters
Faces and encounters
Many a times, when we are travelling in the metro, or walking down the road, there is a person walking down the road, we make an eye contact and exchange smiles. How often does it happen? I’m sure it has happened at least once to all of us. One doesn’t know why do they do it? Perhaps, it’s because you are happy, and everything seems happy, or perhaps the other person transmits the happy feeling to you.
Happy people around you make you happy.
There are also times, when you see a person and they are immersed in the work they are on to and you feel a sense of affection or empathy. One can’t describe that feeling properly, as it is something related to a person doing their work which has got nothing to do with you. You don’t know who the person is, yet you know that the person is doing their work intently, which touches you in a way.
Thus there are people around us, who, in spite of being strangers, seem familiar, close, happy or positive. We can compare our world with a library, where we can walk around and surf books. There are many books which we tend to ignore and pass, yet there are some books, which attract us. Not in a romantic manner, but in a pleasing one. We can be drawn to the expressions, the face, the appearance or simply an act, like books, where we can be drawn to the title, the cover, the prologue, or simply the first few lines of the book.
Casual Carefree faces
Amongst the immensely busy lives and inhibitions regarding people around, some serendipitous rendezvous feels like oxygen. It makes our day and the rest of the day, remains happy, just because of that one moment of encounter.
Thoughtful introspective faces
Humans are social beings. Conventionally, we love to meet people and exchange thoughts, ideas and emotion. But it is changing. People are being less expressive, because of some of the negative aspects in the society. People should be cautious; they need to keep themselves and their loved ones safe. But they should also be human. Express as humans and show the love, compassion, kindness and emotions which comes naturally to us.
