Delhi’s Dwarka has done it! They have built a mammoth 125 ft high Ravana, which will be ritualistically blown up tomorrow.
This is the largest Ravana effigy ever to be built in Delhi area, and has been done by this 5 year old Dussehra society.
The festivities are taking place in a 10 acre plot, giving suffecient room for revellers.
To show a dramatic reproduction of Ramayana, which culminates in the burining of the Ravana effigy, the organizers have also built a massive 200 by 80 ft stage to give actors enough room to disply their histrionics.
