Culturista Carnival hits Dilli Haat

Delhi’s most happening and culturist place Dilli Haat offered yet another unique experience to all the visitors this weekend by giving them a taste of different cultures of the world. It was one of those entertaining evenings where folk, fashion, music, dance, mime and obviously shopping amalgamated making everyone indulge in it.

Even children had their own fun time because of the games and activities that kept the entire family busy throughout the evening; and things don’t get over here, onlookers also witnessed a soulful voice taking over the stage and singing all sorts of songs ranging from bollywood to folk, making every age group sway to the beats. Many more music, dance and theatrical performances brought a slice of the world and folk culture together at one place.

Stoles at The Jewel Thief by Diksha Harshita

One World News had the opportunity to take a trip to Dilli Haat and found quite a few attractive things that our readers would be interested in. Our first look went to the stall which had masaba and digitally printed stoles made of crape, lycra etc. The prints were quite attractive and something which could be paired up with jackets, tops, skirts and even kurtis. Khushboo from Jewel Thief who was handling the stall said, “Our Company has a tie up with the designer Diksha Harshita who has designed the stoles. We would soon go online because of which people can easily place orders of jewellery, cushion covers, scarfs, stoles etc. on the website and can also ask for designs which would be exclusively made for them.”

Style Statement’s leather bag with digital print on it by Prerna

If you aren’t looking for stoles or jewellery then another stall at the same place called Style Statement would definitely grab your eye balls. The stall had a wide range of bags, clutches, wallets, jackets and skirts with digital prints on them. “I love to promote the Indian culture and that’s the reason why each of my products have ethnic designs. I have exhibited and have been trading these products internationally. The bags can be digitally printed on leather, canvas, satin etc. The prices vary according to the size of the bag and the material as well. We can do digital printing on anything the customer wants, whether it is a dress piece or a bag. Even the designs can be suggested by the customer” says Prerna from Style Statement.
