Held at The Ashok Hotel from 11 am to 6 pm between 4th and 6th July, the Bride and Groom exhibition was a huge success. Free for the general public, colours, class and celebrations defined the mood of the event. The very wedding exhibition seemed to be a microcosm of a wedding with models, designers and the general public participating with great enthusiasm.

Hosted by Ms Kiran Sharma, owner of ITE Pvt. Ltd., the exhibition showcased just about everything you would need to organize the perfect wedding , from wedding cards, wedding photographers, ehnic and western designers to decorators, all under a single canopy.
The vibrancy and variety of designs were the major attractions. Also within the wedding exhibition was an art exhibition by Ms ANJANNA KUTHALIA. Anjanna, an internationally recognized painter and former Miss India of 1975 represented the country at the Miss World contest in London where she stood eighth, today has more than 50 art exhibitions to her credit. Talking about fusion, Pranay Baidya, one of the designers showcasing his work at the exhibition, said that his present collection is a blend of ethnic and contemporary and is a reflection and amalgamation of all the places he has travelled to. Other designers present at the event included Joy Mitra , Anju Modi, Nikhita Tandon, Nikasha, Shalini Chauhan, Ratna Jain, Sarab Khanijou etc. To add a touch of music to the event, there was also a performance by a European violinist.
This was the 16th year of the Bride and Groom exhibition and it received an amazing response and is reported to have been attended by 25,000 people.
To sum it up, the exhibition was a one place solution to organize the most splendid glittering wedding for the rich and affluent.
