And there she was….

And there she was....

And there she was….

After dallying outside her house in my car, for what seemed like eternity (the first time that it got annoying), I was prepared for a quarrel with her owing to our not so mellow talk last night and some unpleasant dialogue over the phone. She kept me waiting for almost an hour. That’s it now, I told myself. It was fest time in college and we had plans to attend the star night of the closing ceremony together. But as they say, ‘life is busy making her own plans at the end of your subconscious.’

And there she was....

I wanted her to understand that me not being able to make it to the concert is something not in my hands and that she will have all the other good company she needs but she is intractable so now I have to stern too. In the middle of all these thoughts, I saw the gate opening and a tiny little head popping out of first. Zoning in, I collected my thoughts and decided to not let her get away with this. But there she was…

She walked towards my car one foot at a time, her alluring wind kept hitting me throughout. By the time she sat next to me, the cranky mood was very swiftly replaced by a suitable one. Her outfit for the day was the slinky material she bought the other day, which she wore over a grey vest and matching the upper half, was a long grey pencil skirt (which never failed to elaborate her fine butts), and fastened around her waist, it hung down the legs with a slit on the right side.
Her hair were beautifully let loose, as if to smother every dark emotion or thought that dared to come near her.

And there she was....

Donning the most perfect beaming pair of eyes, sharply marked nose and prepossessing lips, her face was embellished already; the light and right amount of make-up that made it all the more majestic. Shifting my gaze downward, I noticed that she had put on those charming footwear that ornamented her feet just perfect. “Is my footwear going with the attire?”, she asked in a confusing tone. I told her they were, looking at them for less than a minute. She thought I said it just to please her when in fact; I was through with assembling these details already. I wanted to ask her why it’s so easy for her to set my soul on fire, the only fire in the world where it doesn’t hurt to burn.

The cab arrived where it was supposed to pick her up from. It was time for her to leave now and have a great day with the other ones and for me to return home and start on a dull day. I went ahead and gave her a peck even though I looked hopelessly gauche and she, endlessly graceful. She stepped out and tripped over her skirt in a hurry as I patiently waited there to see her comfortably be seated in the cab thinking, that ‘if people were rain, I was a drizzle and she was a hurricane.’

And there she was....

And on my way back, I reminisced how captivating she really is and how there are more than 100 billion worlds in the universe where I am her valentine….but just not in this world…just not in this.
