XOLO LAUNCHES THE NEW ‘BLACK’

Indian smart-phone manufacturer ‘Xolo’ has come up with its latest addition to the ‘Black’ series, Xolo Black. What’s new this time is that the gadget will be made available only in the online market from Monday onwards. Easy on the pockets, the smart-phone will cost people appropriately INR 12,999.
According to the company’s press release in an event in the capital, this product will be exclusively available on Flipkart. Xolo Black already attained a number prospective buyers even before the company made the launch official because of the fresh features that it boasts of having and the competition it will give to Xiaomi Mi 4, Mi 4i, Lenovo P70 and many more.
Comprising of a 5.5 inch full-HD display with 1080p resolution, the new Xolo Black is backed by a 64-bit Snapdragon octa-core chipset and 1GHz processor with a 2GB RAM and 16GB internal memory. It features a dual camera set with fast focus technology having 13 megapixel for the rear camera and 2 megapixel for the front one, both having flashlights. New camera features include UbiFocus, which means it’s possible to now focus and refocus the image even after it’s taken. Another feature is ChromeFlash where users can retain the natural lights and colors in dull lighting.
Moving on to the OS (operating system), the Xolo Black is supported by Android 5.0 Lollipop and runs on the HIVE UI (Xolo’s proprietary software). Connectivity includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, dual SIM and more.

In a first, the home grown company has also tied up with telecom giant Vodafone. The deal specifies the presence of this smart-phone on all Vodafone stores in the country and not only that; all Vodafone users buying this phone will get a 1GB free data for two months and unlimited music download from the Vodafone Music Application.
Looks like the desi manufacturer knew exactly how to bring this product to the market. With an apt value for money, exciting new attributes and offers and a sleek design, let’s hope the new Xolo black eats up some market share of the foreign smart-phone giants.
