HELPING FACELESS TO THE RESCUE
Indian computer engineers Shashank Singh paired with Anmol Gupta have come up with a mobile application that will help police and commoners alike to rescue kids stuck in trafficking business.
This app has already been downloaded (available on Google Play) by several volunteers who have indeed traced some children and guided them to the nearest police stations.
Not just that, this brilliant initiative has been acknowledged by CNN IBN’S initiative ‘Networked India’ and has made it to the top 5 inventions this year.
A self funded innovation; this app would not have been possible without the support of its many volunteers and Mumbai police, where it holds a strong base, according to Mr. Singh and Mr. Gupta.
