Facebook, a social networking website that was in news some time back for buying Whatsapp, one of the leading social app, is trying to introduce a new feature for Android phones, which is a notification bar that would appear on the screen of your Android mobiles. This feature is under testing period for the time being. Increasing demands of Android phones in market, this notification feature will help the users to keep themselves connected 24*7 with Facebook. Also, the notification bar would have different options like News feed, Friend request, Messages and settings.
The user will also have access to display picture on their Facebook profile. So whenever you slide down your notification bar, you will see your display picture too. This notification feature of Facebook has been in talks since long time now, but it is only now, that Facebook has started its testing finally.
Facebook has been updating its looks, introduced something new to its website and mobile version every now and then, and now it’s the time of this new Notification feature. Well, it’s questionable if Facebook would again mark success in its step as it is not guaranteed that every user would be happy to see his or her face every time he/she pulls down the notification bar.
For people who might not like to get notification every now and then on their mobiles have the option to change settings. All he/she has to do is click on the ‘i’ icon on the notification bar and they would be directly accessible to settings of Facebook, where they can change the settings according to their convenience.
