NASA’s New Horizons spacecraft is on a mission to explore outer space. It has recently flown past Pluto, the dwarf planet.
The spacecraft took a picture of Pluto, backlit by the Sun, when it was 18 thousand kilometers away from the planet.
The picture clearly shows Pluto’s landscape, and the nitrogen layer around, which forms a haze when lit by the Sun.
