The Aamras Ki Kadhi is a popular Gujarati traditional recipe, the classic preparation of sour and sweet mango salsa by enhancing a few ingredients altogether. It would be ideal for a summers’ afternoon lunch or served with rice or roti for a lunch pack any hotday of the year. It no longer means much effort to buy fruit-flavoured food commodities. Thus just toss and turn some mango pulp with chickpea flour and make in your own style, one Gujarati variation.

Ingredients list for Aamras Ki Kadhi

  • Take 3/4 cup Ripe mango Pulp
  • Take 3/4 cup Buttermilk
  • Take 2 tablespoons Gram flour (besan)
  • Take 3/4 cup Green ripe mango
  • pinches Asafoetida
  • You need 1 tablespoon Oil
  • Take 1/2 teaspoon Mustard seeds
  • 1/4 teaspoon Fenugreek seeds (methi dana)
  • You will need 6-8 Curry leaves ,2 Green chillies slit , Salt
  • Take 1/2 cup Boondi

How To Make?

  • Beat together ripe mango pulp and green mango pulp together, in a big vessel, make it like smooth liquid. Pour in the buttermilk and whisk in.
  • Incorporate the gram flour and hence blend it until it becomes a smooth mix and there are no lumps. Incorporate enough water to have the right viscous starting point.
  • Heat oil in a deep-frying pan on medium heat on the gas range or electric. Planned the addition of onion slices, asafoetida, mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds and curry leaves.
  • Keep stirring till the splutter of the seeds begin. We do not recommend the use of directive tones or a dictatorial style here.
