Story of a rising star: Nishant Milkani
He was the Academic head boy of his school(Laxman Public School). And just like us he used to hang around with his friends in Hauz khas , South Ex and C.P but a stranger, whom he met in metro, completely changed his life and he became the handsome hunk Adhiraj of ‘Miley jab hum tum’ from a studious management student.
Since his dream is on its way to getting fulfilled, he sat down with us to chat about ‘Bezubaan Ishq’ his first Bollywood movie as a lead.
How is the feeling of being here in your hometown after a long time?
I am feeling nostalgic; my friends, family everyone is here and those days that I spent in Delhi were the golden period of my life.
How would you like to describe yourself?
I would like to call myself a creative person because I don’t do different things but I like to do things differently.
How did the role in Bezubaan Ishq come to you?
This is the first time I am playing a lead role. I gave auditions for the character and did a lot of hard work to grab it
Any plans of returning to T.V.?
Yes, if I will get a good script I will return to T.V. The sole reason to quit ‘Ram Miley Jodi’ was to explore something new. So, now script is very important for me.
Your favorite holiday destination?
I am from a middle class family. I don’t like spending a lot of money. So, the best place for me to hang out is Goa as it suits my budget too.
How did you get a break in T.V.?
I was in Kolkata pursuing my management course and one day, while I was returning from my college, one man gave his number to me and told me to give him a call. He was finding a model and that one call changed my life.
How is Sneha as a person?
Wonderful soul. She is down to earth, polite and of course dedicated towards her work.
What kind of roles do you like to play?
Actually I have a dream, I want to become the definition of ‘love’ in this industry. So, all the roles that are associated with love, I will love to play.
I am being little personal but have you ever been in a serious relationship?
Yes, I was and because of it I was able to connect with my character in the movie better.
What all is in pipeline?
There are three projects I am working on. One of them is Love Guru.
Winding up the conversation we asked about the last movie he watched. So, he has given a special message to the queen of Bollywood industry, Kangana Ranaut, “I just want to do one scene with you. You made me crazy” (laugh out louder)
