Modern Relationships are too casual
If you are in a relationship then you must have witness the arguments, lack of communication in your relationship. Fake sex and physical appearance are the main components of modern relationships.
Now -a -days being with someone to whom you are fallen for has become a major task.
Modern relationships starts from bed and ends in the bed. Is now relationship is only about physical relationship? Because it is hard to find emotional connectedness in the modern relationships.
Major questions on which we young generation need to work is , Why are relationships so hard today? Why do we fail at love every time, despite trying so hard? Have we forgotten how to love? Are we are too modernised?
We are not prepared. We are not prepared for the sacrifices, for the compromises, for the unconditional love. We are not ready to invest in our relationship so that it can grow.
We want everything easy. We don’t want to face hardships. All it takes is a single hurdle to make us crumble to our feet. We don’t let our love grow, we let go before time.
We must say today’s generation is totally clueless about the essence of true love they are only looking for the thrill, excitement or class they get from being in a relationship.
We want someone to watch movies and party with, not someone who understands us even in our deepest silences. We want someone with whom we can exchange expensive gifts not one with whom we can exchange your deepest grievances .
We do not want a partner for life, just someone who can make us feel alive right now, this very instant.
The ugliest truth is we don’t have a time for love, we don’t have the patience to deal with relationships. We are just busy in chasing materialistic dreams and there’s no scope to love. Relationships are nothing more than convenience.
There is lack of maturity in modern relationships. As it’s modern relationship so there are modern ways to express the love. Being in a relationship means to post it on Facebook rather making your partner feel special.
Modern relationships are selfish, yes it is selfish.
We get into relationships at the slightest attraction and step out, the moment we find someone better. We don’t want to bring out the best in that one person. We want them to be perfect.
Technology plays a major role in modern relationships. It has brought us closer, so close that it’s impossible to breathe. Our physical presence has been replaced by texts, voice messages, snapchats and video calls. We don’t feel the need to spend time together anymore.
Everyone is commitment phobic. We believe, we are not meant for relationships. We don’t want to settle down. Even the thought of it is scary. We cannot imagine being with one person for the rest of our lives.
All we can say is we don’t even value relationships anymore. We have become too modernised that it has become impossible for us to fall for someone.
