Uri attack: Rajnath Singh, Arun Jaitley meets PM :- Accusing Islamabad for the attacks on the Army base camp in Jammu and Kashmir’s Uri sector which took the lives of 17 Indian army soldiers, Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Sunday stated that “Pakistan is a terrorist country” and soon it should be identified and isolated. Today Rajnath Singh along with Arun Jaitley, Manohar Parrikar, Dalbir Singh Suhaag will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi over Uri attack.
Notably earlier Home Minister said “There are several definite indications that the criminals of the attack on Uri sector were very well trained, having different armaments and were well equipped,” Rajnath said after a meeting chaired by him in Delhi.
“Pakistan is a terrorist country and it should be soon identified and isolated. I am highly disappointed with Pakistan’s continued support to terrorism and the terrorist groups,” the Home Minister said in a tweet.

Rajnath Singh assured that those who are behind the terror attack will soon be brought to justice. “Highly distressed at the terror attack in the Uri sector and the heavy loss of 17 brave soldiers martyred. I pray for the injured and heartfelt condolences to the families of the martyrs,” said the Home Minister on Twitter.
Rajnath said he has upgraded the Prime Minister Narendra Modi about the highpoints of the security meeting which was chaired by him. The PM has also promised strong action against those behind the attacks.
“We strongly doom the cowardly act in Uri. I assure people that those behind this attack will be punished,” the Prime Minister of India tweeted.
The Uri camp was attacked yesterday and 17 Jawans were killed in the attacks. Today in the meeting the attack on the army was discussed and a team of National Investigation is expected to visit Uri to gather other evidence from the attack site.
