Shivraj on hunger strike against Mandsaur violence
Will solve the issue by healthy discussion, says Shivraj
After the heavy protest by the farmers in Mandsaur, CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan will be on hunger strike for unknown period. He started his hunger strike on Saturday morning 11’o clock at Dussehra Ground in Bhopal. The officials of Municipal Corporation started the preparations as soon as Chauhan announced his hunger strike.
Shivraj Singh Chauhan twitted that his hunger strike is against violence. Madhya Pradesh government works for the benefits of the farmers. He requested the farmers that they can solve the problems through healthy discussions.
Chauhan’s Hunger Strike
A big stage has been prepared for Chief Minister Shivraj Singh’s hunger strike. A local BJP leader told that during the strike, Chauhan will have discussions with the farmers over there in order to make things into control. Moreover, another area near the stage is being prepared for the CM to rest and to hold the cabinet meetings.
Farmers’ protest unstoppable
The angry farmers from the government have now decided to fill the jails protest. Moreover, farmers are travelling to different villages and protesting against Shivraj Singh Chauhan. National Farmer’s Labor Organization, General Farmers Union and Indian Farmers Union are some organizations who announced this. The police have filed case against 18 congress leaders for Farmer protest. To bring back things under control, 2 more battalions of RAF have been sent to Madhya Pradesh.
How the protest started?
During the Farmers protest in the Mandsaur district of Madhya Pradesh, 6 farmers were killed during the police firing. Since then, there is a heavy protest and violence in the country. The Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Shivraj Singh Chauhan is being targeted by the farmers and the opposition. He is being blamed for not helping the farmers and killing them. On the other hand, Chauhan is continuously requesting the farmers and all others to maintain peace and stop the violence. He is ready to have a discussion on the issue and solve the problems peacefully. He said that his government is always ready to talk to the farmers, discuss their problems and do everything possible to solve them.
