Section 144 imposed in Betul , following water crisis
Gyaneshwar Patil, Betul’s District Magistrate ordered to unleash the imposition of Section 144, which restricts unlawful assembly of five or more than 5 persons at a place.
Unlawful Penal Code of India, Section 144 which means unlawful assembling of people has been imposed in Madhya Pradesh’s Betul district in the existence of law which is making the region plunging into quench for water and present conditions due to water crisis in the area.

Every building up or construction work is halted, either public (government) or private none are allowed to begin or continue any of the jobs which relates the usage directly or indirectly of water.
Water crisis is hampering the work of workers and is forcing them to stop their work forever.
