As a result of continuous rain all schools till class five will remain close today in Udham Singh Nagar district of Uttarakhand.
The Chief Minister Harish Rawat yesterday assured the people of Uttarakhand that their safety is very important to his government and they are ready for any upcoming danger.
River flowing above the danger mark
He said that the river water in Ganga and other rivers are flowing above the danger mark and that’s why his government is totally alert and vigilant.
‘The administration is set to tackle any situation.’ Assuring the people of the state he said that the administration is taking all precautions to guard the lives of the people.
The continuous rainfall has also disrupted the water and electricity supply in many places across the state.
