The member of Rajasthan State Commission for Women clicked a selfie with a rape survivor created controversy, prompting the chairperson to give a written explanation.

The picture was clicked by Gurjur on Wednesday when she and the chairperson had gone to visit the rape survivor in Mahila police station (Jaipur).
Ms. Sharma while talking to the media told that she was not aware of the pictures being clicked since she was busy talking to the survivor, and stated that she has asked Ms. Gurjur to give a written explanation into the matter.
