Vice-president of Congress Rahul Gandhi led his party with their MP to protest against the statement of VK Singh for the backwards.
The main target of the government will be on the GST Bill, which is officially known as The Constitution (122nd Amendment) Bill, 2014. The Central government is planning pass the GST from April next year.
The bill has been passed by Lok Sabha but got stuck in Rajya Sabha, where the central government is in minority. Other important bills before the parliament include the ‘Prevention of Corruption Bill’2013, which was discussed in Rajya Sabha on Friday.
