President congratulates trainees on their success in Civil Service examination
A group of trainees of the Indian Information Service (2015 Batch), Indian Trade Service (2015 Batch) and Indian P&T Accounts and Finance Service (2015 Batch) called on the President of India Pranab Mukherjee at the Rashtrapati Bhavan, today.
Speaking to the trainees, the President congratulated the them on their success in the civil services exam which is considered one of the toughest competitive exams in the world.
He told the trainees that their decision to join the civil services will give them ample opportunity to serve the nation and bear its responsibilities even at this young age.
He wished all success to them in their future assignments.

The President added that the Indian Information Service provides an opportunity to its officers to communicate the proper information in correct perspective with different stakeholders.
For knowledge is power and the basis of knowledge is information. The skill of the officers will depend entirely on how effectively they are able to communicate the given information.
The President said that the current international trade is complicated.
The Indian Trade Service Officers will have to face the challenge of making trade a powerful engine of growth in the up-coming years.
The President also said that the role of the Indian P&T Accounts and Finance Service has undergone huge transformation over these years. The officers should be well furnished to meet the future challenges they would meet in their work.
