The Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday greeted the nation on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Zuha.
“May this festival bring the spirit of peace and togetherness in our society,” PM Modi Tweeted.
Bakrid or Eid-ul-Zuha is being celebrated in different parts of the nation today.
Special prayers will be offered at the Mosques, Eidgahs.
President Pranab Mukharjee and the Vice President Hamid Ansari also greeted the nation.

In Delhi the main celebrations will be held at the Jama Masjid, Fatehpuri Mosque and Shahi Eidgah.
In UP special security arrangements have been made outside the main Mosquesand Eidgahs.
Different places have been reserved to carry out the ritual of Qurbani in evey city.
In Bhopal, temporary slaughter houses have been built in many for Qurbani.
