Prime Minister Narendra Modi wished and greeted the people of Pakistan on their national day. Narendra Modi tweeted “Greetings to the people on their National Day.”
On their special occasion Pakistan High Commission has decided to organise a series of events to mark the day including reception, which is expected to be attended by special personalities and Kashmiri separatist leaders.
External Affairs Ministry spokesman Vikas Swarup said that senior minister will represent the government at the Pakistan national day celebration at High Commission.
President Pranab Mukherjee stated that India remains committed to peaceful,friendly and cooperative relations with neighbouring country.
