Phalodi city of Rajasthan recorded highest temperature since 1956
According to a Met department, the Phalodi city of Rajasthan has recorded the highest temperature 50.5 degree Celsius on Thursday since the year 1956.
Notably, the IMD has issued a red alert, a severe heat wave warning for many parts of northern and central India for next three days.

The states of North India states and towns are left to sizzle under the extreme heat. The highest temperature was recorded in year 1956, which was 50 .6 degree Celsius.
The condition is expected to remain same for next 24 hours and it could worsen.
